May Newsletter for Sunshine Farm Girl Co-op

Dear Sunshine Farm Girl Co-op Members,

Letter from Marsha:

In anticipation of May being a spectacular month for the co-op, in terms of potential growth. I put together my thoughts to you in this month's newsletter.

Did you notice all the new features that's been added to make the newsletter interactive? Each month you will find new and useful tips, projects, contests and more. So be sure to check it each month so you don't miss any of the cool happenings.

I'm recovering from oral surgery I had on April 1st. I sure could use some cheerful thoughts. So send in your funny stories and precious moments for me to read and lift my spirits.

I have lots of support through prayer and reading my Bible daily, which empowers me through God's holy spirit. Then, there's my family ever devoted by my side. Not to mention my loving and caring friends.

I'm sure it will be a speedy recovery with all that help behind me. Having to deal with this surgery brings me to the scripture of the month.

                  Scripture of the Month:

2 Corinthians 4:16-18- "Therefore we do not give up, but even if the man (woman) we are outside is wasting away, certainly the man (woman) we are inside (spiritually) is being renewed from day to day. 17: For though tribulation is momentary and light, it works out for us a glory that is of more and more surpassing weight and is everlasting. 18:while we keep our eyes not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting.

Member Tip of the Month:                                                                  Planet Earth Remedies

RECIPE: TEA TREE MOLD SPRAY: a powerful antiseptic and also has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. Tea tree oil can be used as a cleanser in the home and has been shown to inhibit the growth of mold. When combined with borax, another mold-inhibitor, you have a spray that can be used frequently to discourage the growth of mold in such areas as the bathroom. Use this spray on your shower surround and on shower curtains, as well as upon any other areas that might be susceptible to developing mold.

You can buy Spring Valley 2 ounce Tea Tree at Walmart (a great buy for $8.00 ) or if you hate Walmart you can pay more and buy from a health store. At Walmart it's at the vitamin section on the bottom shelf - they always stock it.

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons borax

1 cup warm water

10 drops essential oil of clove

1 teaspoon tea tree oil

Spray bottle

Dissolve the borax in warm water that you have poured into the spray bottle. Add the essential oil of clove and the tea tree oil to the mixture. Shake well before using. Spray on the areas you wish to treat and allow to dry. Do not rinse.

Many Blessings,
